Ok here is my quest:

i have two mpeg2 movies. same content one with german audio other with english audio. i want to make a new mpeg2 movie with dual channel. Having on the left chanel german and on the right chanel english sound.

i DVD2AVI´d the movies to extract the audio as mp2 then BeSweet´d the audio to wav files and joined them left chanel / right chanel into one wav file.

now my guess is back from wav to mp2 with BeSweet (but how - couldn´t work it out not even with the gui - sorry DSPguru) then use the DVD2AVI projekt file of the first movie 2 TMPEG / CCE encode it.

Is there a way to multiplex the files (movie & new sound) without encoding the mpeg again? (i guess not)

Is the way i choosed OK or am i totaly wrong? THX in advance

Creating one 2-channel audio stream is one way; but ever thought about muxing 2 stereo audio streams into one AVI? You can do this with Nandub and with VBR MP3 or even AC3 files (although they'll eat quite a lot of bitrate, you shall consider it only for 2-CD rips). GordianKnot will help you calculating the sizes and bitrates. But it will require a player which is able to switch between multiple audio streams; I guess ZoomPlayer or BSplayer are working well.

The movies are only about 3 minutes each. The whole thing is used on an exhibition where people walk around a hall and when they come near to an exhibit their headset gets trigereed and the movie starts 2 play. At the entrance they can either get an "english device" or a "german device" Diffrence is only the channel played.

Sorry - I missed that you want to have an MPEG2 file afterwards... There are very simple and not too expensive versions of DVD authoring applications (e.g. DVDit, SpruceUp), they can create DVD-compatible VOB files out of video-only MPEG2 and several audio files (stereo AC3 or MPEG2 audio are most probably supported, read their specs first!) and will build "Mini DVD" CDs (so called "cDVD") which can be played by software DVD players (most DVD consumer players will not play DVD-like content from CD media, though!). Please try to find comparisons between these programs for yourself.
