SRT Subtitles

Download vobsub from www.doom9.net
It's a directshow subtitle filter.
Install it.
Take an avi movie and a srt file. Make sure of 2 things:
A - they are in the same directory.
B - they have the same name.

1. Run any video player except for Media Player versions older than 6.4.
2. Play the avi. The subtitles are probably displaying.

3. WAIT! Don't go away yet!
4. Click with the left mouse on the picture.
5. Select the filters menu.
6. Select the DirectVobSub filter.
7. On the properties palette Enable 'Always auto-load'.
8. This way after you play an avi you can select any subtitle file using the same procedure from step 4,5,6. Select Open...
