HELP needed on Chinese subtitle ripping

how can I rip Chinese subtitle and stick it right onto the video?

also, I used Claddvd to rip, and there's no sound when I did a preview on DVD2AVI. and there's no sound on the video fragment I made coverting vob -> avi, is there some function on Claddvd that makes sure audio is ripped?

Regarding part I of your posting: check doom9's guides, there is a section about subtitle ripping using various methods. Beware, though, quite a few Chinese DVDs have burnt-in subtitles, ripping is not necessary (and impossible :)) in those cases.
As for your other subtitling question: afaik they are answered in doom9's excellent guides as well ... I recommend the subrip section of the subtitling guides, everything you need should be in there.
DVD2AVis preview does not have audio, if I am not completely mistaken ...
