Got the new version and now the process is taking twice as long during the encoding part of it. Before the encoding would take 4 to 5 hrs now its taking 9 hrs. All the settings are the same as before and Im using the same pc. Has anyone noticed or knows why is this?
Thank You

Check the AVS file with Notepad. See if either TemporalSmoother, IVTC or Decomb (telecide) is being used.

This is what the avs file shows:
LoadPlugin("D:\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("D:\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
LoadPlugin("D:\DVD2SVCD\INVERS~1\DONALD~1\decomb.dll")
mpeg2source("D:\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AV~1.D2V")
Telecide()
Decimate(5)
SimpleResize(480,360)
AddBorders(0,60,0,60)
ResampleAudio(44100)

dvd2svcd is correct.
For the DVD you just encoded, DVD2SVCD couldn't use Force Film, so it enabled IVTC via Telecide() and Decimate(5). This slows down encoding quite a bit.
Your speed may pick up on your next encode. You might want to make sure your NTSC Field Operation on the DVD2AVI tab is set to Automatic.
