Hi,

obviously the links in today's news seem to point to the old versions (9.4.8.4 of OggDs and 1.0.0.0 of OggTitDs) instead of the new ones (9.4.8.5 and 1.1.0.0). I think so because the files sizes are exacltly unchanged. You can find the new ones on the Ogg Vorbis DirectShow implementation page at

http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q5045045/

I think the ogg people would be better off putting the version numbers in their filenames.

Greetings

next time please take some time to do some research before posting.. the latest filters have a size of 203'496 and 94'068 bytes which is exactly what you'll find on my servers. I even installed the filters and had a look at the filter properties and they're the lastest versions

Hmm sorry if I was wrong, but I certainly did check the downloaded files and compared them to the ones I got from the page mentioned. What would you have thought?

I cannot check if it works now because I get that referrer-error message when I try to download them now...

I simply suppose you are right and the only explanations i got are

- my browser cached the older version

- not all your servers were synchronized at that time and at least one still had the old file instead of the new one.

Anyway, just wanted to help, no harm done, great page anyway. And version numbers in file names still rule :)

I upload binaries before the html pages to ensure that by clicking on a link you will never get an old version (unless I forget to upload something)
