divx or vcd

That is my question. I'll put my argument forward first.

I think divx is better quality, but u can't watch em on normal dvd players :(

But vcd u can play on a normal dvd player. I'm not so sure what way to turn.????

Any opinions would be great :D

The answer is SVCD.
Great quality and can be played on a standalone.

Decisions, decisions - isn't life hard sometimes. :)

DivX is better quality imo and if u wanna watchit in the lounge room then buy a tv-out - if you look at it that way it comes down to either: having better quality ( divx )or having a remote control ( svcd ).

Another thing to think about is if ur friends have decent ( enuff )pc's or only dvd players - after all, it's fun to share stuff sometimes.
