Hi, I´m currently authoring a DVD with SpruceUp.
Now I´ve got two audio tracks, one called xxx.ac3 and one with xxx.dts.
May I rename the xxx.dts to xxx.ac3 so that I can import it in SpruceUp???
:D

I havent tried it, but it might work if you can get the required software. Use Surcode dvd DTS to import the dts track and output it as 6 wav files. Then use Sonic Foundry Soft Encode 5.1 and import the 6 wav files and output it to .ac3 and just use the highest bit rate. Your sound sytem will see .ac3 not dts. Not the ideal way, but may work. As of yet i havent found any authorware to import the mpg and dts only mpg and ac3.

Kandor,
any additional hints on how to import a .dts file into DVDMaestro v2.9 (2194?)

I see on web that versions of DVDMaestro 2.8 and higher are supposed to be able to import dts (and play/preview it when combined with a Sigmadesigns Netstream card)

I have tried on several movies, demuxing the dts with smartripper, and have never had any luck

DVDMaestro always rejects

How do you demux the dts stream you use?
Any particular way to add it?

Thanx
Jeff
