I got a DVDR with a movie, just to found out it does contain extra contents (trailers & interviews) the ripper forgot to include in the menus.

What would I need to reauthor a menu of a DVDR without loosing any quality?

AFAIK I can either load the vobs directly onto some software (which ones???) and remake the menus OR demux all the vobs and reauthor the whole DVD.

Ideas?

Thanks!!

To reauthor, you would need to rip all the elementary streams off the dvdr (both, video and audio). Then reauthor the dvd.

However, if the stuff is already on there, but not included in the menus, why not just use the jump to title function of the dvd player to play 'em.

Hi!

why do you not try to copy the missing menues from the original dvd? I think it would be very easier than re authoring the wogle thing. Because i think you have to demultiplex the whole stuff and put it then in a authoring programm.
The only thing i know which accept Vobs is roxio videopack, but i think it sucks, because there is no chnace to preview your project.
Why do you not try the easier way instead taking the harder way?

Gpz,

I want to include them on the menus just because people might not know the stuff exists unless they hit the jump button...

Streetcleaner,

It's OK, I can do that, if you let me know how, once I edit the original menus, can I remaster the whole thing onto a new DVD!

Help? :)
