Guys,

I am running Xpmeg 4.2a successfully. Lately I noticed that I don't have an AMD IDCT in the Xmpeg root directory. My question are:

a) Where do I find an AMD IDCT for XMpeg ?

b) Should I just use it from flaskmpeg and change the extension to .xmpeg and stick in xmpeg's root directory ?

c) Do I need to change something in XMPEG's configuration some where such that it appears in IDCT selection and hence I select it ?

I guess I am new to this ... If someone would tell me how do you activate the IDCT once you find it.

Thanks,

Sohail

As far as I remember, the plugin technology changed during the Xmpeg development, so you might not be able to use Flask plugins just by renaming them. But in my experience, AMD IDCT plugins were not much faster than optimised MMX; only the DVD2AVI IDCTs were remarkably faster.

Anyway, the last IDCT plugin collection can be downloaded from the "main software page" at doom9 (click on "Downloads" and use that link near the top of the page):

http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm

or maybe directly here (although I doubt, because doom9 is using anti-leech scripts):
