DVD R Media?

Has anyone tried Laser DVD-r media with the Pioneer AO3?
They are the cheapest i have found in Australia but arn't sure if they are any good ($10 per disk)

i don`t have a clue about these medias, but i have tried these Vivastar Medias and they coursed trouble they didn`t play in my standalones!
