Hi,

After moving to XP I can't use MP3 codecs in XMPEG as when I tell XPMEG to "Flask IT" I get an error. I have seen the problem in many threads on this Forum and know that it happens only in XP and 2000.

What I would like to ask is when will XPMEG work properly under XP and 2000? Also when will DeInterlase be back.

I'll continue to use version 4.2a under 98SE on my other Hard Disk, but I would like to keep it all on XP if possible!

Also can anyone direct me to the XMPEG homepage? Any link I follow just takes me to the MP3Guest website, but not the part about XMPEG and I can't find it anywhere!

Thanks

Xmpeg supports Mp3 encoding, if u only got one installed on your system,.. so if u want to use Xmpeg deinstall all Mp3 Codec
(check Multimedia=>Hardware=>AudioCodecs), reboot and install just one.

Ps.: on the mp3guest homepage click on "Créez vos DivX rapidement et facilement avec XMPEG" and then on "View in English" and u should understand it,... U won't find a direct link because mp3guest doesn't support direct linking.

I had the same problem in Windows 2000, but after reinstalling the system, I installed Xmpeg, and *after* that the Radium MP3 codec. Now it works perfectly, and as in Windows 2000 there are more memory resources, you don't run put of them while using Xmepg, so I can use the system while compressing.
