I got the ViTE release of Bandits which is in OGG and I can't play it. I installed the OggDS filters and I even rebooted and it still won't play. Media Player just hangs. What could be wrong?

Try a different player :D . The DSF doesn't seem quite happy yet at times. I've had the same thing happen a few times, but more often than that, WMP doesn't die after closing, and requires a manual kill. The latter problem never happens with ZoomPlayer. I'd try ZP, BSPlayer, etc. Also you might want to uninstall/reinstall the DSF, or try a different version.

PS: If you are talking about one of the horrid versions of WMP (7.x+), I'd try 6.4.

I tried it with WMP 6.4, 7.0, and PowerDivX. They all crash or hang. I will try some other stuff but I don't know why they would all not work.
Also I think I might have some other ogg stuff installed, because I remember installing ogg support for AVIs a long time ago (Zoran NT), and maybe that is causing it, but I don't know how to remove it.

Nevermind, I got it :)
It was in Add/Remove as "FreeCodecs". I uninstalled it and now it works, yay! :D
