i'm trying to re-encode some episodes of Jackass that i've got hold of. the encodings are MPEG-1 and i can run the first pass fine, however if i try and do the second pass nandub crashes straight away with an access violation, a page of assembler and the line 'wrong nandub.dbg version (build 1853)'. i'm using the very latest version (the one from the GKnot 0.23 update). it also crashes if i try to save the audio to a wav.

i've tried using virtualdub and that works ok, but i'd prefer to do SBC encoding. on a slightly unrelated note, when saving the audio to wav in virtualdub it halts half way through with a sync error or similar. is there any way of fixing this so i can extract the audio and re-encode that too?

in 1st pass nandub doesnt process audio
then audio is the problem.

this is a contradiction!

u could fix that by demixing and then remixing the audio in the mpg,
or just demix, then convert to wav(also with winamp) and use the wav.

here is a free demix only utility.
