Huge filesize in TMPGEnc

'morning board,

during the night i set TMPGEnc to encode a 730mb divx avi - into svcd format. however, as i woke up i found out that the .mpg filesize is huuuge...around 3.6GB and when played in mediaplayer....04:09:00 long (the avi is only 90mins).

whats wrong with the file and how do i get it fixed? also, theres no sound in it either.

any suggestions how to fix this? :)

extract audio from avi and convert to pcm wav. Then, use avi as video source and wav as audio source. This might help your problem, as tmpg is not fond of exotic audio codecs.
