I'm using Maestro 2.9

1. I have figured out how to assign "First Play" and "Title Menu" (Both set to Menu 1) but how do I assign the "Root Menu"?

2. I'm trying to setup a "Deleted Scenes" section. All of the scenese are contained in one M2v file and I've assigned a chapter to each scene. I have my buttons set to go straight to the chapter/scene when I select the button, now how do I tell it to just play that chapter then come back? (Would this have something to do with Playlists?)

Not having actually tried this,

But I recall reading someplace that using chapters from a playlist is what you want.

Essentially a playlist is like an alias that links to a chapter.

You can specify the return of the alias to be the deleted scenes menu.

Then, you can make a link from a button that plays all the deleted scenes, one right after another, to link to the actual movie rather than the play list links. If I recall correctly, each one maintains its own forward/next/back links.

Thanks, I think I've got both questions answered now, I decided to try the playlist idea last night I still havn't compiled (and don't have realtime playback) so I'll let you know what happens.

To assign Root Menu go to Connections and link "Chapter 1:Menu Key" to the desired menu.
