That method has been floating around for a long time... vintage late 1999 or early 2000 I think. I've been told by others it worked... but ONLY on standalone players that support miniDVD -- and that is nowhere near 95% (see www.vcdhelp.com).

Thanks for the reply. I'm not an expert in this field
(it's starting to be my new hobby). You just have saved me a lot
of time I would have wasted wondering why the MiniDVD wouldn't
play on stand alone player.
