I made my first divx rip but I have a serious problem. I used: smart riper, dvd2avi, vfapi, graph edit, virtualdub and nundub to mix video and the vbr mp3. For the Mp3 I used lame encoder vbr. When my avi file was completed I had to split it on 2 avi. I used virtual dub. Then when playing the splited avi it was delaying and the sound was not synchronized. That happened for both splited avi. The original avi worked fine. I used for playing the avi media player, The Playa and Micro Dvd. Probably the problem is when I split the file. Any suggestions?

1. Use Nandub to split. Virtual Dub doesn't understand mp3. Nandub also is easier to operate for splitting.

2. Use AviSplitCalc.
