Trying out new version and as I have no DVD's to backup I am doing some quality comparisons with my pal dv clips.

Here's what I have found using a clean install of 1.0.7 b1.

After adjusting bitrate tab to suit and start converting the calcualted bitrate used by cce is as set. However if I close dvd2svcd, reopen it and start converting the same clip with the settings unchanged cce encodes with the avg bitrate as the setting for max in the bitrate tab and the avg is -2346827 or something just as weird. Without closing d2s and changing the avg to another figure cce uses the new value when crash recovery is activated. But closing d2s, reopening it and converting with loaded settings = screwed bitrates. Didn't do it with 1.0.7 pre 16.

Someone check if this is same when dvd's are backed up.

Check the log:

The original video framerate of 25.001 is not supported. The framerate will be adjusted!

Did the audio portion of your DV conversion work? I have not tried beta 1
yet but I did try the posted pre build and it still had issues with DV audio.

I hope DVD2SVCD continues to work on the AVI side of the program now that TMPEG support has been added.

The clip (audio, video and mux) is converted okay when the correct bitrate value is sent to cce.

This is 1.0.7 build 1 not beta 1.
