i just want to announce that i've just encoded the video of my first minidvd with tmpgenc.
it's my first test so i think i would improve these settings to maximize the quality.
the source was a ntsc divx, i demuxed the sound from the avi using virtualdub in wav format. i encoded the video (from the avi) and the sound (from the wav) within tmpgenc using the provided template to produce pal mpeg. i demuxed it with tmpgenc and i imported the mv2 and the mp2 within reeldvd for authoring: menu, subtitle, chapters and intro.
i create the video files (video_ts folder) and burn it with winoncd pe 5 using the udf/iso profile on a 74' cdrw.
plays great on my bluesky2210s! everything works well!
i will work to optimized the settings, i will post my experience later.
thanks for the forum, great ressource!
see you!
