Is it possible to use DVD2SVCD without the audio capability?
I need only video capability.

Hi pit11,

if you leave the default setting "Don't delete any files" in "Misc." tab checked then you will have all files you might need. For example you will have a file "CCE_Encoded_Video_PAL.mpv" for PAL that is a SVCD compliant MPEG2 stream without any audio.

If this is what you are looking for then you could check the "Don't make Images" option in "CD Image" tab - that will save you some time too.

Greetings,
Gerti

Your Location ist Germany?! Goooood. I hope you understand me. My english is bad.

i don't mind a post in german, but you DO realise there is always the possibility of sending someone a Personal Message.

if you're only interested in the video part, wouldn't it be easier to just use CCE?

anyway, if you want to use dvd2svcd you can edit the d2s file: change the "Project Position=" and do a "crash recovery"

I think I noticed a link to a german forum on the D2S homepage? Gerti, is that correct? Since I can't read German I don't know exactly what that link is.

Hi there,

@pit11:
contact me by sending a PM if your English is really as bad as you think it is. ;) - But it sure is a little sad for other people to not understand what you are asking me as it might solve some of their questions too. :(

@DDogg:
Sorry, the link you mentioned is a yahoo briefcase link where you can download a good guide for dvd2svcd based on mrbass' quick guides but a lot more detailed.

@pit11 again:
yeah, as da franksta said - why don't you just use CCE instead with audio disabled? - And the CCE pdf guide is really detailed and good explained - I think.

Greetings,
Gerti
