appending divx files

hi,

what am i missing here.. have got two divx files (one nandubbed movie,and one 3dmaxed avi,exported with divx lowmo)

both pal (25fps) both 640x272, both without audiotracks,
why can't i append them? nandub gives "wrong frametype"
is it because of the lowmo/vs SBC or am i just missing something?

*i've got another method working but that can't be the easiest way,
because 3dmax does not support mpeg2, i export it hufyuv and then using avi2mpeg2 convert it to an mpeg2 file, wich i then convert to a dvd2avi project file, wich i together with the movie dvd2avi file merge in avisynth , and encode them both to divx.*

guides say.. join em in vdub.., don't see why nandub should be different if direct stream copy = selected?

what is this 3dmax now??

however, load that divx in vdub, save with direct copy
then try to merge again with the 1st.
