temporal soften or smoothen

is the temporal soften or smoothen option (whateva it is called) only in cinema craft encoder 2.6x and later or is it in 2.5?? if it is in 2.5 where is it in the options?? i can't seem to find it at all

I thought it may have been a filter but I wasn't sure cause I think the people on the message board called it temporal smoothen or something but in the avisynth language reference it only mentions a temporal soften. If I got smoothen and soften in the wrong order I'm sorry about that, but you all know what I mean. So can anyone just write a smal script or line showing me how to use it. thanks
