I will admit IM A NEWBIE. now thats out of the way...heres my question

I have made several good rips using the xmpeg guide. I decided to rip the linkin park dvd. The final result has alot of lines in the pictures when someone moves? Is this deinterlacing? I couldnt find a actual definition for the term, so i figured i would post. And is there any way around this, none of my other rips have this problem. Im using the divx4 xmpeg guide to the letter.:scared:

i remember reading some post saying that xmpeg doesn't support interlacting, de-interlacting, or something like that; but flask does, it's an older version of xmpeg.

Doom9 said xmpeg 4.3 does support it, but it's not out yet.

Yes,

As mentioned before, Xmpeg does not have de-interlacing capabilities yet. However, the next version will, as I have been speaking to the author.

You might try using another iDCT option and filtering option. This fixed the problem for me.
