don't trust windvd on HD playback

i have now made 2 dvd->dvd-r backups that would not play properly in windvd when testing from the hard disk (T2 UE and fist of the north star) but play perfectly from the dvdrom drive or in my stanalone! i also re-did pump up the volume and messed around with parts of menus etc. and it played back flawlessly from my hard disk in windvd but is screwed up on a dvd-r on standalone or in windvd from the dvdrom drive! so dont trust it!

let me guess, you goto a chapter around ~1hr 30min and then you see parts of the start of the movie, or it goes back to the title menu?

grab powerdvd xp 4.0 and see how playing off hdd should work.
