I've been looking everywhere to solve this problem, so if someone can help that'd be great:
I have an SVCD on my hard drive and not on a CD(i.e. the CD files of the SVCD are on my hard drive: directories EXT, MPEG2, SEGMENT and SVCD)and I want to burn the files to a CD-R. I tried with Nero by dragging the Avseq01.mpg (833MB) file to the SVCD creation window. It re-encoded it but displayed a warning message saying that the result might not play correctly. And that was the case when I tried to play the SVCD on my DVD player.

I have burn SVCDs from .cue image before, so a solution would be to create an image file of the files I have on my Hard drive. I tried to find a way to do this with Nero but without any success.

Does anyone have any clue how to do this. Any advise would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Steven

hi i think my problem has something in common here.
i,m using dvdx 1.7 to convert original dvd,s on to my hard drive no problem then, i,m writing them with nero on to cd-r,s and all seems fine but they will not play on a stand alone dvd player. when i look at the disc on my pc all the files are there and the actual film is now a dat. file so why ?
oh yer i used the doom guide to the letter aswell by printing out and following step by step, any ideas?

Hi there..
I had the same problem when burning SVCD with Nero so i tried the burning software VCDeasy and the SVCD then played perfectly, so download and try it out, much more features then Nero too :D
