Is it possible to edit a custom .avs file and use it for the compress. test in gknot?
PS
my idea is to play with differents tempsmoother values

hey. yes, you can, but you have to leave the selectevery(13,260). and then stick in whatever filters you need, open the avs in nandub/virtualdub and save the avi to generate a stats file which you can then open in GKnot using the load button.

Yes. The selectevery(x,z) function selects every z frames , x frames to compress. So make you avs with the selectevery() function load it to virtualdub(if you want DivX 4), check first-pass and generate your stats. Then load them at GKnot from the Load button(not the stats files editor)..

The setting i want are related to the compress. test...
so i think Gknot forum is ok...

The setting are :
Bitrate : 6000 Kbps
Quantizers : 2x (locked)
Same as the first pass of you movies :)
