Hi,

Finally got Divx 4.12 to work for me. I encoded in Gordianknot, 2-cd rip.

Problem is the picture looks somehow wrong to me. Almost as if it's been speeded up somehow.

The playback just looks a little jerky, and the audio seems to run fast. The video and audio are in sync, they just seem speeded up a tiny bit.

Any idea what caused this?

Thanks to anyone who has any ideas. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the conversion to 23.97 fps did something, but I have done this plenty of times with Divx 3.11 and Nandub and never had a problem.

Thanks,

dragoman

What was the source and by what method to you get to 23.97?

Hi,

The source was Tin Cup dvd, NTSC 16:9

I used Forced Film in Dvd2avi during the Gknot process to drop framerate to 23.97 fps.

Like I said, works every time when using 3.11.....
