Divx on XBOX

The XBOX is not yet out in Australia, but is soon to be released. Has anyone done a port of DIVX and a player to this platform yet? What are the issues?

X-Box has been connected to the PC, but I have heard of no DivX plans. A problem is that is is not recognized by the PC as a device. This is probibly because there is no driver for X-Box for PC.

I was interested more in the x-box as a stand alone player, not connected to a PC... The XBOX can read CD/R disks?

It can but it requires taking it apart and adjust the reading laser that has a good chance of messing with it's ability to read dvd disks. You can read more about it on xboxhacker (http://siliconice.net/XBOX/)
