OK, my files play fine in any machine but one, and they are playing upside-down, and reversed.

what's going on here?

The machine is using winXP and WMP. The thing is, so are all my other machines, nothing is diffrent between all of them, yet the problem is only on this one....

oops, forgot to say that they were all encoded via divx 3.11...

codec was reinstalled, and did not help anything....

I don't know where your problem comes from, but you can use the DivxG400 filter to solve it. This filter has an option to flip the picture.
