sounds as if a wav file was made.

are you 100% sure, that you set everything up for an ogg file ?

The quality range of OGG in HeadAC3he is 0.00-10.00 which equals (for 6 channels) to 192-1500kbps. I just hope you didn't put the quality at 10...

HI!

When i use HeadAC3-->Ogg it makes a huge temp.ogg around 2gig then convert it to a real Oggfile,do you have enough with HD?

So HeadAc3 doesnt directly decode to vorbis ??

this sucks, because this way we dont get any speed improvments....IŽll stick with the old (and better) besweet !

BeSweet cant do direct AC3 to Vorbis encoding at all for now AFAIK, but i maybe wrong and DSPguru implemented Vorbis now ?`

A complete AC3 to Stereo Vorbis encoding for a 2 hrs movie, using HeadAC3he 0.21, will take me less than 1 hrs . The program will generate an intermediate WAV files on the HDD, but this will be deleted automatically when encoding to Vorbis has finished.

Why don't you guys read the f###in' readme? If you want besweet like behaviour and therefore speed does not matter, use dumb mode, then *no* temp file is created. Why don't you just try out, which mode is fasster? Unless oyu have an old HD, float mode will be way faster, even with temp file...
