newbie - cce error

i am using dvd2svcd and when it got to the cce step it stopped. I went into cce and it said that no .vaf file was found, so it could not encode. all the previous steps are done, i am on windows 98, and my cce is 2.5. I thought i followed all the steps correctly, although i may be asking something that has been answered over and over somewhere else and just not realized it.

let's see, you're not giving me much to go on. you might wanna give some more info, so someone can get an idea what's going on. post dvd2svcd log, give detailed hardware specs, don't forget whatever else you forgot to mention...
