how to make sample from an avi+ogg vorbis file

i'm a newbie in DiVX coding and i want to know something ;p

How to make a sample from an DiVX file?

(ogg vorbis+avi)

I've tried nandub and virtual dub but they can't handle the ogg vorbis audio.
If someone can help me :)
