what are the best settings (in the audio interleaving menu) for muxing divx4 video and vbr mp3 audio in nandub?

i have ear that i must interleave every 2 frames... is this true?

Leave it at default for the beginning. If you experience any troubles, play a litlle bit with the settings. Also, remember to add the correct delay value in the "delay audio track by".
I have personally never had any problems with the vbr mp3 (made over 30 movies with it). The only thing that you will probably have to play a little bit with is ac3. Most common settings are 64/64 (ms) or 96/96 (ms).
