This may or may not have anything directly to do with GordianKnot, but after installing it on a Windows 2000 Pro machine, I get 'jumpy' playback when viewing DivX-encoded movies. My guess is that this can be attributed to overlapping versions of DivX which were installed with the software.
I was able to uninstall the DivX 4.12 codec which was installed previous to the GKnot installation, but the HuffyUV AVI codec could not be uninstalled via ControlPanel and there is no uninstall for the DivX 3x codec nor one for GordianKnot either.
Does anyone know what could be causing the jumpy playback?
If it is indeed a codec problem, does anybody know how to manually get rid of these codecs under Win2K?
