Hi, I took the 4 part Lord Of The Rings DVD rip and merged them together with Tmpeg. The problem is that the audio goes out of sync. It happens just before the beginning to the second part, so i'm figuring it has to do when the files are being merged, it's like i lose almost 30 seconds of audio which causes the rest of the movies audio to be out of sync. Does anybody know what the problem may be, or have any solutions? any help would be appreciated thanks.

Ok, i don't know if this was the quickest way to do this but it worked so if anybody has a simpler way, than please post
I used 2 programs to do this and the end file is about 3.01 gigs
I used TMPGEnc & Twins File Merger 2.0 or you can use any .mp2 file merging utility.
-Open TMPGEnc and go to File - Mpeg Tools and hit the Merge and Cut
Tab. Next, add all 4 LOTR mpg files to the list and where it says -
Type - click the down arrow and select MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR)
and then click Run.
-After the merge is done, stay in TMPGEnc - MPEG Tools and now click
on the Simple De-Multiplex tab. Now add the first LOTR Mpeg file
for Input. You are only gonna need the audio, so you can delete
the Video Output line so that it only takes the audio. Repeat this
for each of the 4 LOTR unmerged mpegs. You should end up with
4 .mp2 files.
-Next open Twins File Merger 2.0 or the file merging utility you
prefer. and merge all 4 of the .mp2 audio files together.
-You should now have a merged .mpg file and a merged .mp2 file.
Go back to TMPGEnc - File - MPEG Tools - and the click on the Simple Multiplex Tab. For Type, hit the down arrow and once again select MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR). For Video Input, add the merged LOTR .mpg file and for Audio Input add the LOTR .mp2 file. Now just type an Output name and click Run. Finished
Note that it takes kind of a while to finish depending on the speed of your computer so just be patient. If you have any questions just ask.
