Ummm... I thought it best for me to reply and post it here so others might benifit. I don't actually remember who it was that pointed me here, but a big thanks if he/she reads this.

MB put up a guide on creating SVCDs... I think I read it =P and everything's all sweet from that point one.
I am currently able to convert my DivXs into VCD/SVCD and have enough control to squeeze 90 min onto a SVCD and still get great quality on the TV screen. I'm happy right now. ^_^
Just a note, I think geocities has a bandwidth limit daily or something... you might come acorss a problem accessing this page if too many people visit it... D'OH, does that mean I shouldn't have posted it here!!
