I'm a total Newbies here so please dont kick me if this is nonsense !
We all know that ingo's MediaXW 0.5 DirectShowFilter is the only possibility to play AVIs with Vorbis, when those were muxed with nandub of course. Seeking is impossible then because of AVIs inabilities to hold VBR audio and because the Vorbis is in an Ogg container and this one is muxed to the AVI with nandub.
The filter is working great in most cases, but some report there are problems if MediaXW is installed, like they can not delete Ogg files etc.
ingo stated more than one time that this is caused by a compilation error of VC6++ ( or similar .. cant remember ) and it could be resolved by making new compilation.
Any coders here to have a look at http://mediaxw.sourceforge.net./ and search for the 0.5 version and try a new compilation ? Thanks ...
