I have a DivX movie (720x272) with MPEG layer 3 audio on 2 CDs which I want to burn on DVD-R to watch it on a standalone player. DivX codec and Frauenhofer audio codec are installed. Playback of video with audio in WMP is no problem.
For encoding with TMPG, I selcted the DVD(NTSC) Template and got a beautiful video but without audio.
I got the advice to first save the audio with VirtualDub as wav file and then import this wav file into TMPG for encoding. With this procedure I got a MPEG2 program stream with audio, but the sound is choking and full of clicking noise.
What to do? Any advice is highly appreciated.
