Hi,

I have problems to split AVI-AC3 files with VirtualDub-AC3 and/or NanDub.

The original file has AC3 sound inside. When I try to split this file, the movie is split alright, but the sound is lost at all in the splitted AVI's.

Reinstalled WinXp and Win98 (clean system), Installed the Tsunami set of codecs etc....

Has anyone an idea ?

CU, Smuck

Open the AVI in nandub
Extract the avi audio to a separate file, using 'save wav' will do just fine
Now reload the AC3 file using the AC3 audio option
Now you can set all other parameters as you like and use the home/end to split the file.

OK Hakko,

I'll give it a try tonight.
