why is the outputfile that big??

Hi...

When trying to encode a AVI (690MB) into a MPEG1, the outputfile
is about 2600MB. How can I solve this problem??

(TMPG settings are PAL, VCD, Stereo)

Hi..

I'm answering this by myself.
The size of the outputfile was caused by a problem between the
video- and the audiostream. Fixed it with Virtualdub.
