When DVD2SVCD analyzes the subtitles it just comes up with english subs despite that I chose another language. There are multiple languages on the disk including the language that I chose.
When the next picture came up ( the one which displays a preview of the subtitles ) the only preview was the one in english, but the language I chose was marked so I gave it a go and went to sleep !!
Now I woke up to sunshine outside  but no subtitles.
If I go to the folder where DVD2SVCD puts the subs, they are all there as if nothing went wrong.......... BUT........ when I try to open one of them, they are all black, they doesn't contain a thing.
Any answers ???
Thanks !!

Hi KP,
i had the same "issue" when using subtitles for the first time. ;)
What clixomano wants to say is, that you have to hit the "Show Next" button in the "Subtitle Color and Selection" window until you see a preview of all your selected languages in the "Subtitle" column. Then you can click the "OK" button otherwise the extracted *.BMP are all black.

how did you rip the dvd?
have you tried another method?
do other subs work when you play the dvd?
