That. Is there any way to see MKV attachments WITHOUT having to extract?

For example, I'd like remuxing my DVDs to MKVs, much more convenient than stupid VOBs. And to make it "nicer" attach movie posters, cover scans, gallery pics, descriptions of the extras (interviews, etc).

The all mighty MKV container supports that, but how can I see all files afterwards? The only way I have now is extracting the attachments with mkvextract. Way too inconvenient. Is there any "viewer" where I choose the MKV in question and allows me to browse and view attachments? If none (I searched and found nothing), would it be possible? I mean, given how the attachments are mux in MKVs, is it possible to make a program to just "browse" the files in a window and upon selecting one, "view" it or extract it on the fly :o

It could be a separate program or a "plugin" for a player.

VLC 2.0.x is displaying the first of the attached pics.
