Hello fellow pro BD authors,

My company bought Scenarist BD 6 months ago, and I taught myself how to use it with the user's guide and by piecing together info from the internet (and this forum!).

Ever since the beginning I've been hearing about the Sonic Knowledgebase that's supposed to answer all your questions about Scenarist, but I couldn't find it anywhere and had assumed it was discontinued since all references I saw to it were pretty old. However now that I've upgraded to BD 5.7 and have seen people referencing it again, I want to finally get access to make my problem solving easier!

Where does everyone else access it? When I go to Sonic/Rovi's professional Products Support page, there is a link that says "search the knowledgebase", but it just takes me to a login screen, and once I log in I only have access to software downloads and a support ticket page that doesn't actually let me ask for support. I did purchase Sonicare and have sent a few e-mails to my local reseller asking about the knowledgebase but they never get back to me. Do you think it's just a problem with Sonic not giving my account access to the knowledgebase or am I supposed to be looking somewhere else??

Thanks for helping with this stupid question...

Sonic KB was always up-to-date. You can find it when you login to your Sonic account. On the top page you have some buttons (Home/Incident list/Submit new/Customer info/Knowledge/Download). Knowledge is the button that redirect to the Knowledge Base. All the tutorials/PDF that you can find are not ordered by date, so the first tutorials can be both new or pretty old. You need to 'investigate' or use the search function for a specific problem.

The only buttons I have are Home, Incident List, Customer Info, and Download.

I'm guessing Sonic just didn't give my account the right permissions (they also first sent me dongle keys that were set to expire after 3 months, so I'm kind of not surprised....)

Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll contact Sonic about it. Thanks!
