Windows XP 64-Bit
I try to run MeGui in 64 bit mode enabled and thats the error I get when it starts to encode my video. avs4x264mod.exe
I have AVISynth 64-Bit installed
Why is MeGui giving me this error? how would I go about fixing this?

Are you using the 32bit or 64bit version of MeGUI?
If your using the 32bit version you need to install the 32bit version of Avisynth to be able to encode with the 64bit x264 encoder.

wow that couldnt be anymore obvious, not to mention thats what ive done. You cant install the 64-Bit AVISynth without already having the 32-Bit one installed.
I have 32 bit megui and avisynth but when I turn on 64-Bit mode I get that error. It wont encode in anything but 32-Bit.
I tried the supposed 64-Bit Megui and get the same problem.

Please post the full logs (MeGUI + MeGUI x64) including the error message.
Btw if you use MeGUI x64 avs4x264mod will not be used at all and therefore it must be a different error message and cannot be related to avs4x264mod. But we will have a lock at it when you post the logs.

@Zathor
It probably has something to do with this
Fix clobbering of mutex/cvs Regression in r2183.
Bizarrely seemed to work on many platforms, but crashed on win64 and may have been slower.
Only affected sliced threads during encoding, but could cause crashes on x264 encoder close even without sliced threads.

Likely, yes. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.
