In original Blu-ray there are 4 audio streams and 3 subtitles.
Trying to remove 3 audio streams, keeping 1 audio and 1 subtitle.
Using tsMuxer I get this message:
Unsupported format
Some tracks not recognised.
This tracks was ignored.
File name: "F:\BDMW\STREAM\00000.m2ts
Backing up full disc to HDD using AnyDVD HD, no preprocessing.
Tried Clown BD and BDRB but the subtitles doesn't show up in output so they
are somehow lost in the process.
Opening the BDMW folder in MultiAVCHD and in properties of the .m2ts file I see
in the playlist the 3 subs listed as [textST].
I can also see the subtitles in BDedit.
I have no clue what to do?! So any help would be highly appreciated.
Edit: Disc plays fine with subs from Blu-ray reader and from backup BDMW folder.

What do you see listed when you bring the file into TSMuxer? Usually that 'Unsupported track' message means the video has a PIP stream, and TSMuxer doesn't recognize the audio tracks used in PIP streams. (If you see two video tracks in TSMuxer, that's what is going on.)
If that's the case, just uncheck the PIP video stream (look at the resolution of the video, it's the smaller one), and uncheck the audio/subtitles you don't want. It should remux it fine. If it has a PIP, and you want to keep that, then TSMuxer probably won't work...
I don't think I've ever encountered any other type of stream that TSMuxer wouldn't recognize...

I don't think there is anything that can display TextST subtitles (softsubs in text format), which are NOT the same as PGS subtitles (bitmaps). Only blu-ray players (standalones and software like Arcsoft TMT or PowerDVD) can display them as of this writing.
I don't think tsmuxer can accept TextST subtitles for muxing, AFAIK.
With that said - if you are familiar with BDEdit and blu-ray playlist format, you could add them yourself. TextST subtitles are always out-of-mux - which means they are stored in their own dedicated m2ts file, and never muxed in with the main movie. You could theoretically copy the TextST m2ts file over and edit the mpls file to point at it, and it will work with a real Blu-ray player.

@varekai
Hi!
I don't believe I've ever come upon a commercial Blu-ray disc that contained subtitles ONLY in textST format.
What is the title and region of your Blu-ray disc?

@rik1138
There is a PiP stream that pops up using VLC. Don't want to keep that. No subtitles show up anywhere so can't demux them.

I did find the dedicated .m2ts file that holds the subs. How do I edit the .mpls?
I have the mpls, the movie m2ts and the textST m2ts file but got no clue how to edit and remux them to a BDMW folder structure?
@setarip_old
The Borrower Arrietty and Julia's Eyes, both region B, have only textST subs.
I figured out how to solve this! I made a full backup to a 50GB BD-R! :D

varekai, probably the best way to get the TextST file to work is to use BDEdit to modify the playlist to point to the m2ts file. However, that's all I know - I haven't used BDEdit for modifying playlists!
Good luck with whatever you try!

...use BDEdit to modify the playlist to point to the m2ts file.
Thanks, I'll try this, gonna need a lot of help from trial & error but that's OK.
I know them well, they're old friends of mine! :D
