View Full Version : Reauthor a 3D Bluray to remove the "Key Restriction" flags

Dear all,

I have a 3D Bluray made with the burning function of Sony Vegas, as there is very few cheap ways of doing 3D blurays. I need to play it so that it repeats forever.
My Denon blu-ray player has Repeat and A-B functions on the remote, but on this disc, it refuses to loop and displays a little "forbidden" icon when I press the remote button. So I think that Vegas is setting some restriction flags.
How can I reauthor the disc to remove these restrictions? It a very simple structure, only one title with no menus.
There was many tools able to do it for DVD, but I do not know for bluray.

Thanks in advance

Etienne

with bdedit you can edit it to add the loop in the playlist

Thanks, I will try this.

Will it keep the 3D streams?

I opened the structure with BDedit. Removing search restrictions seems easy (I set the title search to "Permitted", did not try to burn it yet though)

However, setting a loop conditions seems not straightforward. Could you help me on this?

Thanks,

Etienne

I assume you know that you can set/unset these restrictions in Vegas, too? :)

the loop isn't a condition, this are some cmd to add to your playlist
