Hi parkmaul,

seems that you got the bug that was fixed by dvd2svcd in 1.0.6 Build 4. So you can try the new Build or once try to start CCE manually and close it as this will generate the (probably not yet made) registry settings needed.

Greetings,
gerti67

P.S. Some hints for you:
- seems that you are new so next time post in Newbie forum please
- and please read the Newbie FAQ and the Official Q&A also
- don't use that many exclamation marks as it is not polite
- do not crosspost

Do you have a P3, Althlon or greater CPU?

CCE doesn't support P2's, Celerons(first generation) or K6 CPU's.

I have the same problem when encoding multipass VBR. Everything works ok (except ripping with internal routines which gives "Access violation...") until the CCE encoding stage, where the encoding either just stops after a while or gives "Access violation...".

When encoding 1-pass VBR it doesn't hang, although I've had a strange problem here as well: the first 30 minutes or so of the movie was ok, but then the screen was black and instead of the picture I got a red text about Avisynth-errors (the sound was perfect all the way though).
