Hello,
I'm using Muxman 0.16.8; it does not accept 48 KHz/24 bit audio tracks; shouldn't this format be supported?

Thanks for any reply.

What does the log file say? (default location is c:\muxman.log)
How many channels of audio? (the limit for 48K/24 is 5 see http://mpucoder.com/DVD/LimPcmAud.html )

I discovered the problem when I tried to author a Beatles compilation starting from the hi-res files on my "The Beatles USB", which are 44.1 KHz/24 bit: I converted them to 48 KHz/24 bit using Sox; the resulting files seem ok, but are refused by Muxman.

Here is an excerpt of the log generated by Muxman:

Only guessing, but probably the audio files have the extended header, which is not recognized until version 1.4.1
You can either update MuxMan or make the audio files with the older header - see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1479746#post1479746

That was it! Stripwav was useless (gave me a warning, and the resulting file was unreadable), but when I loaded the files in Goldwave and saved them as "(Obsolete) PCM signed 24 bit, stereo" they were recognized correctly by Muxman. It seems that Sox creates the files with this extended header; do you know if there's a way to force it to use the obsolete header, for greater compatibility?

Nevermind, I found the parameter: just add "-t wavpcm" and sox will output the correct header (not wav_extensible).
Thank you for your help.
