variable bitrate in megui?

I want to encode a movie with 2pass encoding ,but want to keep bitrate variable like between 2500 to 3k. How to do this in megui with 2pass hq /extra quality preset

2-pass is about hitting a target filesize, not a bitrate.

you probably want to read up a bit about VBV Settings and assuming it is x264 you can use x264 VBV Buffer Calculator (http://handbrake.dynaflashtech.net/cgi-bin/vbv_calculator.cgi) to see how the settings affect peak pitrate etc.
