Well, seems that subs work!
I used new DVD2SVCD with Submux and I get switching subs!
That's cool!

Bad new is that I still can't fast forward-rewind but I notice one thing...
I tried to burn a SVCD 3:40min.
You know that if you burn a SVCD<40min ffw/rew work.
Well, It works.

Now, if I eject the 1st disk and without turn off player I insert a SVCD>40min, ffw works until time reach 3:40min!!
It seems player remember something of previous disk.
It's strange...

Any idea?

err... what the hell you think you are doing? You are crossposting in THREE different forums in this board. STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Did you read the forum rules?

btw: it is good to know that the subtitles are working. About the FF/rew issue, it is probably a firmware limitation of your player.

...but it's not a kind of deep mistake, just I saw that I posted in the wrong forum, and I didn't know if that's a thread about DVD2SVCD or SVCD Encoding.. ecc.. so I posted again.
However, I wrote here 'cause I hope DVD2SVCD Author has an idea of the reason of those all ffw/rw problems in Philips devices.

And I don't think it's a real bug of Philips firmware, but:
- wrong way (for Philips) to create SVCD (a trick can solve)
- they want we stay under 40min of video.

bye
